Designer Cactus
Stoneware h50cm
Plants grow through cell division. Cells replicate
and divide, artistic ideas do something similar
but they seem to propagate through association
rather than duplication. This work is realistic
but it's also a caricature, it is contrived
as well as depicting a natural form. This
is a symbolic plant, a cactus cypher.
